Virtual Server Platform Infrastructure

We have designed, deployed and manage a Virtual Server solution that provides you with access to the latest virtual server technology. Our platform runs on the latest Windows 2008 R2 Hyper-V Operating System, along with the Microsoft System Centre suite of applications in a high availability fail over cluster configuration, for both Windows and Linux Virtual Servers alike.

All of PoundHost's Virtual Servers are hosted on the latest HP DL385 G5p clustered servers, with Dual Quad core processors and a minimum of 64GB of RAM. Coupled to our state of the art Lefthand Networks SAN (Storage Area Network) we present both SAS and SATA storage to each virtual server. Each virtual server has a primary 25GB SAS Operating System partition for the fastest disk access times possible, and up to 200GB of SATA storage for your data partitions, giving you access to cost effective data storage.

Using the suite of System Center applications we can offer server backups, server patching, server management, MS SQL Server, system snapshots as well as server and service monitoring, for both Windows and Linux servers.

Virtual Server Control Panel

In addition to our renowned PoundHost Portal, which provides 24x7 support & billing information, we have introduced a dedicated Virtual Server control panel which provides the following services in real time:

Reboot of Virtual Servers
Remote Desktop Control via web browser
Ability to view colsole of the server
Ability to check system health and upgrades
Ability to start and stop your virtual server
Multiple server management for customers with more than one virtual server
Support for both Windows and Linux servers
