In partnership with the BlueSquare Data Group, PoundHost operates from four, state of the art data centres based in the UK.
BlueSquare data centres have been built from the ground up with only two aims in mind: over engineering and robustness. We believe that solid investment in the best infrastructure will allow us and our customer’s continuous growth.
PoundHost understand how critical it is for your equipment to be on-line and accessible 24x7. Our onsite engineers are trained in our dedicated training facility, ensuring a high level of specialist technical knowledge. Our Network Operations Centre (NOC) is open 24x7x365 so you are able to access the data centre (for co-located servers) at any time.

Our Network Infrastructure
Provided by our sister company, Simply Transit, we run a fully redundant BGP network consisting of two separate hardware vendors which provides redundancy not only in the network level, but also on the hardware level.
We operate two separate 10Gigabit networks, from both Extreme Networks and Foundry Networks at all locations. On top of this layer 2 network we operate two independent IP Transit networks (AS29550 and AS34920) which run from multiple Cisco Systems 7606-S RSP720 and 6509 SUP720 routers at multiple London facilities, offering true redundancy to each customer.
Connecting with multiple Tier 1 providers, as well the London Internet Exchange (LINX), we are the only provider able to offer IP services diverse of London, to any of the BlueSquare datacentre customers.
